5 Best Coffee Shops in Yerevan

Afrolab

The place to go if you’re looking not just for good coffee, but for good food as well! As one of the first speciality coffee shops in Yerevan, I would be remiss not to include it on the list.

mart Cafe

A new player on the scene and a worthy contender for the crown. Mart is a breath of fresh air in Yerevan, beautifully designed, lovely staff & a great place to sit for all occasions.

Lumen Coffee

My personal recommendation for the best coffee in Yerevan… whether you’re looking for a flat white, espresso or a cold brew Lumen never disappoints. The staff is super friendly & the interior design is great. Since their first cafe was such a success, the team at Lumen also went on to open Lumen 1936, taking over an iconic old Yerevan notes & book store and keeping all its original charm.

Special Mention:

Coffee House

The Starbucks of Yerevan, you’ll find a coffee house on every corner! For a super affordable (not too strong) coffee to go, locals & tourists alike visit this gem. They’re known for their sweeter & more adventurous drinks so not for all coffee lovers, but if you’re in the mood to treat yourself this is the place to do it.

Voch Luys

Voch Mut

Hidden away behind Saryan you’ll find a great place for a take away coffee - a specialty coffee roaster in a back alley with crowds usually sitting outside and laundry hanging between apartments. If you’re looking for a place off the beaten track, this is it.

Hayk Coffee Roasters

Some great quality coffee hidden a little further back off the busy Saryan Street. My top pick for the best cafe to work from, but also a quiet place to relax with friends with friendly service and a huge range of drink selections.
