Best Western Armenian Food

Zeituna

We come for the atmosphere, we stay for the food. Zeituna is a Yerevan staple, having moved from its previous location near Cascade to a beautiful larger space in the park, it’s the place to go if you’re looking for the perfect environment.

Derian

Another institution, a little older fashioned in decor but no less tasty than its counterparts. Derian has pretty much the best of everything, but my main reason to go is for their matzoonov kufte (yoghurt soup with meatballs), don’t knock it until you try it.

Baron

A newer restaurant that stormed the scene with some of the best food in Yerevan. The chicken from here will blow your mind, as will most other things on the menu. If you think I’m exaggerating, you just haven’t tried it yet.

Anteb

Anteb is a name well known by diasporan Armenians returning to visit Yerevan on holiday. Often people’s first stop off the plane for a bowl of Mante, an Armenian traditional soup with small beef dumplings. Summer or Winter it’s worth eating always.
